Skylights come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. You must determine your skylight type. There are skylights that are more common and typically used for residential applications. These will be referred to as Type 1 styles. Other, more unconventional styles will be referred to as Type 2.
Skylights that are either square or rectangular with a domed or flat lens.
All other styles, such as barrel vaulted, round or pyramid.
